The Star Soap & Detergent Industries PLC was established in January, 1996 to manufacture laundry soap, toilet soap, liquid detergent, powder and bar soaps. SSDI, mainly produces laundry bar soaps, namely Star 2000, Almas, Concorde and Rainbow Toilet soap under the brand MAS, and now has moved into its second phase of production of Powder Detergent (under Goal Brand) liquid detergent (Gold Star) and synthetic detergent.
